 The purposes of the Edmonton Photographic Historical Society are;

• To promote an interest in and knowledge of photographic history, historical equipment and processes, and historic photographers, and;

• ​ To promote friendships among those interested in the collection and history of photography and to provide a forum where people can share their knowledge and benefit from the knowledge of others.
