Canon Lens Coffee Cup

Autofocus lens mugs are a common item.

They vary from some that have working sippy lids that you might actually be tempted to use, to this model that forgoes the attempt at being useful for a full useless lens shade.

Note the two insets above and below the lettering that could be cut out and fitted with drinking slots. Then notice the liquid would be pouring down the longest shade petals.

Notice on the Stabilizer On/Off switch it is set to Off with no room to move forward to On. The AF/MF switch is similarly challenged.

As far as I know there isn’t a 28-135mm f/2.5. There are lenses that are 28-135mm, but they start at f/3.5.

The distance scale is rather mixed up with the lens showing it goes from infinity to 3, 5, 10 m. The infinity position should be at the other end of the scale, after 10 m.

Some thrifting friends of mine picked this up for me thinking it was too unusual to pass up, not knowing if I had ever seen anything so clever

I have one (or two) but not this one, so for a collector it was well worth their effort. I tried to pay them for it, but they were simply happy to help me

out.

They are a couple with the husband collecting vintage action figures and the wife collecting Corning ware.

Now I am on the lookout for all things photographic, vintage action figures and Corning ware!
