This Canon Underwater strap is all I got of the Canon PowerShot D20 from 2013 on sale the week before. I thought the camera was massively overpriced so had passed on it. I had noted the PowerShot had an absolutely unique attach-ment for the neckstrap/wrist-strap. It wasn’t until I saw this wrist strap and recognized the small doogle I put the two together.
I am still a bit puzzled by this accessory. The floatation blue band is attached with a set of laces that don’t tighten the strap tight enough to attach to a wrist.
Maybe it attaches to your upper arm, neck or leg…
Or you simply use the snap?
Recently I have seen the same strap with “Olympus” printed on it. It ended with a fine loop of thread that would slip through the camera’s attachment point.
