Rollei 128BC Electronic Flash

Rollei electronic flash have a distinctive square shape. This 128 BC is the more powerful 4-AA battery version. With the flash’s offset hotshoe mounted on the camera the torque on the camera’s accessory shoe is frightening. You find later in the instructions (included at the end of the blog) there are two brackets and a pistol grip available for mounting this flash to your expensive camera. There are also three sync cords available all with a “locking” Rollei tip on one end that locks onto the flash (the other end can have a Rollei, Leica and regular PC tip).

You wouldn’t think it would take 10-pages of instructions and a further several pages of illustrations to explain a flash with one flash sensor range. But there is hardly a situation you would encounter with using this flash that is not explained. From bounce to daylight shadow filling you will find it complete with troubleshooting if the results aren’t satisfactory.

If you never use the flash and just read the instructions you will be a better person afterwards!
